Great getaway

As Wisconsin Dells was centrally located, myself and 2 friends decided to meet for a weekend of talk and relaxation. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms.And the upstairs bathroom even had a whirlpool tub. We enjoyed sitting an relaxing in the dining room and playing board games, not far from the gas fireplace. The location was central enough in the Dells to make travel easy, and yet we weren’t in a noisy area. We’d all three love to come back next year for our "gathering".

We Were Speechless!!!!

We traveled June 18 - June 21, 2006. Our travel party consisted of four teenage boys (14-16), our 26 year old daughter, and us. We chose Tamarack Resort of the wisdells website. This was the most relaxing, satisfying, exciting experience we have ever had. The condo we had was a large two bedroom (unfortunately master bedroom was loft over living room, where boys stayed, so we changed rooms with our daughter), two full bathrooms, large kitchen, patio overlooking water, living room and dining room. Area is very quiet. This is one of the few places that doesn't have a water park, which worked for us because our boys are older. They do offer indoor and outdoor pool, racketball, basketball, tennis, fishing (poles included), bicycles, nature walks, peaceful waterfall area, paddleboats - ALL AT NO CHARGE!!!! Just give them your room number and they'll give you what you ask for!

Best part is you do not have to be an owner to rent a condo at this property. Rates more than reasonable. We would have paid twice as much if we had rented three hotel rooms, plus the added benefits of a kitchen. And Walmart is right around the corner from the property. The photos on the websites do not do this place justice. It is very modern and a huge complex.

Went to Mt. Olympus and then took the Jet Boat tour! Absolutely wonderful! We had a ball. We will definitely stay here again!!! Absolutely no complaints!

Tamarack Festiva - a hidden gem!

Wow! So Pleased! My family stayed at the Tamarack over President's Day weekend. It was very pleasant and we had a great time as we stayed close to our unit due to the weather. We arrived to a spotless unit that the online description does very little justice... The kitchenette was organized well and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The pool and main facility were exceptional. I can imagine a summer trip to the resort already as the cold was the only drawback to our visit. The resort is close to the highway and right down from Wal-Mart, McDonalds and a few other stores. The drive into the Dells is short as well.
